There are no rainforests in Alberta

The highlight of Accelerate Alberta event last week was the concept of a rainforest in Alberta. When I saw the title Rainforest Alberta on the program I thought to myself --- there are no rainforests in Alberta.... This is the land of oil and gas circa 2017. We are blue sky and wheat fields, rocky mountains and badlands. Yes, and now there is this artifact ---- a social contract with an organization called Rainforest Alberta. Onward.
